展览预告｜贺勋：望京
“望京”是贺勋在想象力学实验室的最新项目。“望京”作为地名连接着城乡结合部和国际大都市，作为意象连接着艺术家的工作和情感。项目中艺术家以自传方式梳理出一条从杭州到北京再到杭州的时间线索，同时在时空轴上生长出若干的故事叙述。这是艺术家在杭的首次个展，亦是艺术家结束十年北京生活后的一次回望。如同展览名称所示，是“眺望”亦是“遗忘”。
展览将呈现艺术家对于“艺术家命运”和“作品的命运”的个人理解，以及不断进展的生命和工作中，如何看待他人和如何看待自身的艺术伦理观，是艺术家继2016年“农业迷幻”个展后的又一次“波普理想”的延续和表达。此展览将呈现艺术家2008-2021年以来的包括绘画、现成品、声音、文本、影像及装置在内的数十件作品。
“Wang Jing” is He Xun’s latest project supported by Imagokinetics. Functioning as the spot joints the rural fringe with the metropolitan, ideally, “Wang Jing” connects the artist’s work and emotions as well. In this project, He Xun sorts out the time line of his I-turnbetween Hangzhou and Beijing in a biography way which grows out several stories on the time-space axis. It is He’s first solo exhibition in Hangzhou and also a look back after his 10-year life in Beijing. As implied in this title, it supposes both “lookout” and “forget”.
The exhibition presents He’s personal view on “fate of an artist” and “fate of works”, his art ethics over others and himself in his proceeding life and work, it is the continuation and expression of his “pop ideal” after the previous solo exhibition “rural rhapsody” in 2016. This project shows He’s dozens of works including paintings, ready mades, sounds, texts, videos and installations from 2008 to 2021.

贺勋，1984年生于江西，2006年毕业于中国美术学院美术教育系 。孑孓社成员。生活工作于杭州。创作涉及绘画、诗歌文本和策划，关注农耕文明、神巫信仰和文学习惯在日常事物中的象征作用，着重于发现被忽视或被压抑的语言、民俗事项、图腾制度对当代生活的影响，藉此寻找人类普遍的情感关联、永恒的记忆及其衰败的历程。作品曾在亚洲当代艺术空间、天线空间、站台中国、蜂巢当代艺术中心、南京艺术学院美术馆、广东时代美术馆、广东美术馆、Castello Di Rivara当代美术馆、意大利卡塞雷斯博物馆及坦桑尼亚国家博物馆等机构展出，公共收藏包括星美术馆、德中艺术基金会等机构。诗歌及随笔散见于《西湖》、《飞地》、《诗江南》、《2006中国最佳诗歌》、《艺术世界》、《艺术碎片》等刊物。其策划项目包括南京艺术学院美术馆的“去写生”，北京UCCA STORE的“缝合：当代艺术从业人员诗选”等。
He Xun, born 1984 in Jiangxi and graduated from the Department of Education of China Academy of Art in 2006. Member of JIEJUE COMMUNITY. Currently works and lives in Hangzhou. His works include paintings, poetry and curating with attention to the symbolic role of agricultural culture, wizard belief and literal haibts in daily life. He emphasizes on the impact on modern life caused by the ignored or suppressed languages, folk customs, totem worship, so as to seek for the common human emotional bonds, eternal memories and its deterioration. He's works have been showcased in A+ Contemporary, Antenna Space, Platform China Contemporary Art Institute, Hive Center for Contemporary Art, Art Museum of Nanjing University of the Art, Times Museum, Guangzhou, Guangdong Museum of Art, Castello di Rivara Centro d'Arte Contemporanea, Turin, Italy and Sovrapposizioni Di Immagini , Casa Dei Carraresi Museum, Italy; and collected by Start Museum, GeKA and etc. His poems and essays are published on journals as "West Lake", "Enclave", "Poem Jiangnan", "The Best Poems of China 2006", "Art World" and "Artshard". Curation projects include "Go Live”with Art Museum of Nanjing University of the Art, "Suture: A Collection of Poetry by Contemporary Art Practitioners”with UCCA STORE, Beijing and etc.
